Why I do this

I’ve been the buyer. Three times.

The first time, I did it on my own. I googled myself in circles, second-guessed every open home and felt every bit of the fear.

The second time, buying an investment, we had a buyer’s agent. Better... but we still felt like a number, fitted into someone else’s process.

The third time, I was the buyer’s agent, buying our own family home. This time the process was built around us, not the other way round. That’s why Brightside exists, and it’s how I work with every client... because no two buyers are the same.

Now I sit on the opposite side of the table from the real estate agent. I work for you. Only ever you.

How I work

Three things you can count on, whoever you are and wherever you’re starting from.

I look deeper. A listing and a good feeling aren’t enough. I dig into the contract, the strata, the sales and the street until the real picture shows up.
I stand firm. Honest answers, even when it’s not what you hoped to hear. And when it’s time to negotiate, I don’t budge on what matters to you.
I listen properly. I hear the things you don’t say out loud. The worry about repayments, the school run, the parent who might move in one day.

Then I use the same five stages for everyone: strategy, search, shortlist, due diligence and negotiation. And I stay with you right through exchange, settlement and keys.

Local, lived

This is my patch.

I grew up in The Hills, went to school in Epping, studied at Macquarie Uni, and now I’m raising my family in Dundas. I know these streets because I’ve lived them, not because I learned the postcodes for the job.

I’m a mum of two and I lead every search myself, start to finish. No handballing. The person you meet at the first chat is the person standing with you when you get the keys.
